Job summary

COHERENT INC. | COHERENT SINGAPORE PTE LTD | COHR MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking a Senior/Staff Manufacturing Engineer (Photonics/Laser) to develop, implement, and maintain laser production methods, alignment procedures, and test protocols for fibre lasers and related products.

You will lead failure analysis, coordinate cross-functional projects, support technology transfers, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Physics, Science, or Engineering.
• Fresh graduates with a Master’s or PhD are welcome to apply.
• Skills in fibre optics, optical alignment, and laser system integration are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead all failure analysis events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver laser-related development solutions.
• Support product/technology transfers and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
