Job summary

EPF Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Senior Performance Test Engineer to design and execute comprehensive performance test plans for large-scale web applications. You will lead load, stress, and scalability tests, analyze results, and collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to address bottlenecks.

Mentoring junior QA staff on best practices will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering and at least eight years of experience in performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Eng or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years designing and executing performance tests.
• Experience with large-scale eCommerce or web apps is advantageous.
• Proficient with Dynatrace, OpenShift and cloud environments; strong QA collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies, including environment setup, data preparation, execution, monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Perform load, stress, and scalability tests to evaluate stability and responsiveness of applications.
• Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to address issues and mentor team members.
