Job summary

Bosch Malaysia in Penang is seeking a dedicated PCB Layout Engineer to drive medium-design changes and translate input from electronics and mechanical engineers into detailed layouts with ~1500 components.

You will create Gerber files, maintain ECAD libraries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve packaging and electrical design issues, staying current with latest PCB technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of PCB layout project experience.
• Hands-on with CAD/EDA tools like Zuken and Cadence.
• Knowledge of design rules and engineering best practices.
• Experience with FMEA/DFMA/QFD is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex PCB layout issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB layout updates for medium design changes.
• Translate inputs from electronics and mechanical teams into PCB layouts with ~1500 components.
• Create Gerber files for fabrication and documentation.
