- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of payroll-related experience required.
- Able to handle private and confidential data.
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Team player.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Effective communication and cross-functional team skills.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wages, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
- Support payroll-related continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in providing payroll standard and ad hoc reports as required by the corporate office, management, and local regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with the payroll manager and internal stakeholders on issues relating to payroll.
- Ensure proper documentation and record management for future audit purposes.
- Any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.
