Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wages, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • Support payroll-related continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist in providing payroll standard and ad hoc reports as required by the corporate office, management, and local regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with the payroll manager and internal stakeholders on issues relating to payroll.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record management for future audit purposes.
  • Any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.
