Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wages, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • Support payroll-related continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist in providing payroll standard and ad hoc reports as required by the corporate office, management, and regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with the payroll manager and internal stakeholders on payroll issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record management for future audits.
  • Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll-related experience.
  • Able to handle private and confidential data.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional team skills.
