Job summary

A consultancy firm is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to design, implement, and maintain database systems in the securities industry. The successful candidate will have 5-6 years of experience with high-performance database clusters and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in Malaysia. Responsibilities include production support, building database clusters, and mentoring team members. Qualifications

• 5-6 years of hands-on experience with high-performance, high-availability database clusters.
• In-depth knowledge of database internals and database objects.
• Experience with large, high-volume database environments including migrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support, solutions, and expertise for RDBMS.
• Build and maintain mission-critical database clusters.
• Research new tools in the database ecosystem and adopt as needed.
• Provide 24x7 production support.
