A leading company in the manufacturing sector seeks a skilled individual to coordinate shift operations, prepare materials, and manage machining processes. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in CAAD and over 5 years of experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Responsibilities include pattern drawing management, ensuring manufacturing quality, and troubleshooting issues to maintain efficient production cycles. This role is critical for maintaining high standards in foundry casting operations, offering opportunities for career growth in a dynamic environment.

Coordinating shift operations which include team management, material preparation, operation, and others.
2D and 3D pattern drawing creation, maintenance, and control of pattern drawings and documentation.
Execute Engineering Change Notices (ECR / PSWR / ECN) for the pattern drawing constructed in pattern drawing vault.
Execute Engineering requests for drawings and specifications.
Provide support for tooling and production drawings and specifications.
Manage multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently.
Calculate the pattern design specification (contraction, parting line, core, and cavity), document the preliminary pattern design sketches for conceptual analysis.
Convert the 3D pattern drawing to Parasolid program and NX total machining for the CNC router.
Retrieve job-related information (job routings, part drawing, tool list, work-instruction, in-process inspection sheet, etc.).
Complete change-over activities (machine preparation from previous job set-up to new job set-up).
Complete manufacturing of first part per process instruction.
Request, record, and report supplied raw materials for dimensions, quantity, defects, and required machining lot / unique identification numbers.
Manufacture parts to required quantity within the stimulated cycle time.
Inspect and document parts according to in-process inspection sheet requirements (in-process inspection).
Troubleshoot machine, program, and parts when issues occur.
Work with the Engineering department to improve machining processes.
Stabilize machining processes to turn over to Operator for production run.
Report any abnormal conditions on operations, breakdowns, and safety issues.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor within the work boundary of Operation.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma / Professional Certificate in CAAD System and CNC machine operation.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in SolidWorks Design software.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / NX Design software.
Pattern Design experience for foundry casting.
