Job description

Our client from the Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead their manufacturing operations.

the role

• Oversee end-to-end plant operations
• Lead and manage overall production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery KPIs
• Manage operations maintenance functions.
• Drive operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Oversee workforce of approximately 200 headcount, including managers, engineers, and technical staff
• Responsible for manpower planning, performance management, and team development
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams
• Report directly to the CEO
  

the experience

• Proven leadership experience in plant operations and maintenance
• Background in food manufacturing OR relevant heavy industry such as oil mill/refining.
• Strong exposure to both production and engineering/technical maintenance functions
• Experience in managing large operational teams (100+ HC preferred)
• Hands-on, strategic, and process-oriented leader
• Proficiency in Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
