Job description

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety while meeting production targets. This role involves optimizing processes, managing resources, leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluating and improving operational processes to streamline workflow and increase productivity.
  2. People Management & Leadership: Lead, mentor and motivate supervisors, production staff and cross-functional teams. Foster a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement mindset. Conduct performance reviews, encourage transparency and immediate feedback for areas of improvement. Drive RBA standard and compliance.
  3. Budget Planning & Costing Control: Plan and manage budgets, ensuring operational costs are controlled while meeting organizational goals.
  4. Strategic Planning & Reporting: Collaborate with management to develop operational strategies that align with the company’s objectives. Prepare and present operational reports, performance metrics and improvement plans.
  5. Quality Control: Continuous improvement on quality control measures to ensure products and services achieve established standards and customer expectations.
  6. Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  7. Regulatory & SOP Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations and standards, thereby mitigating risks.
  8. Data Analysis: Utilize metrics and performance indicators to analyze operational efficiency and inform decision-making processes.
  9. Stakeholder Management: Build and foster positive relationships with external customers, suppliers, and the internal management team.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree, PMP Certification preferable in Operations Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and project management with at least 3 years in an operations manager role.
