We are currently seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.

Successful candidates would be offered a fixed-term employment.

About the mission we offer you:

1. Perform as Leads / Sub-lead / Senior Engineer in project execution and take ownership of specific tasks in a project.
2. Technical responsibility for Material Requisition.
3. Perform Design Calculations.
4. Coordinate with other disciplines.
5. Forecast MTOs for the design area.
6. Review vendor documents.
7. Interpret 3rd party reports such as geotechnical, bathymetric survey, metocean data for incorporation into structural design basis.
8. Ensure engineering design compliance to codes and performance, and timely issuance of deliverables to clients.
9. Prepare updates and check calculations for detailed engineering.
10. Contribute to optimization of material quantities via value engineering solutions.
11. Ensure contractual technical specifications are met by suppliers, adhering to manhours and budget.
12. Report on engineering/requisitioning activities to the group leader.
13. Meet quality objectives of the project.
14. Interface with other discipline engineers and project support functions.
15. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Starting Date: Immediately

About you:

1. Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years of offshore facilities project experience.
2. Minimum 3.5 CGPA or 2nd Class Upper.

Analysis and Tools:

• Advanced user of SACS software.
• Frequent user of USFOS and GRLWEAP.

In-service analyses:

• Static in-place, Dynamic in-place, Spectral Fatigue.

Pre-service analyses:

• Lifting, Load-out, On-bottom, Pile driveability analyses.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SESAM, Abaqus, Ansys.
• Seismic, Blast/fire structural collapse, Vibration, Wind fatigue analyses.
