Job summary

Camarine is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a major offshore project based in China. The role focuses on delivering process design, simulations and technical documents across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in Oil & Gas with strong knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations and safety reviews, and are capable of coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/ process engineering field.
• 8–10 years of relevant process engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, FPSO/FSO, LNG or related energy projects.
• Strong experience with process design deliverables for major offshore or floating projects.
• Knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment sizing and process simulations.
• Experience with HAZOP/HAZID and process safety reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering design and technical activities per project requirements and specs.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, datasheets and technical documents.
• Conduct simulations, hydraulic calculations, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing as needed.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical and other disciplines.
• Support design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, SIL and other safety studies.
