Job summary

A local food and beverage company in Subang Jaya is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. The successful candidate will manage daily warehouse activities and lead a team while ensuring safety and efficiency. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food industry, is required. The position offers a salary range of RM2,200 to RM3,000, medical benefits, and group insurance.

Job description

Salary: RM2,200.00 to RM3,000.00 per month.

Responsibilities

• To arrange, coordinate and prioritize daily warehouse work activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping, to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure a productive and cohesive working environment.
• To determine the most efficient use of storage space and implement proper shelving labelling and arrangement of products in order to provide easy accessibility and systematic storage of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.
• To implement proper handling procedures train staff on safe material handling practices and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• To perform additional task as and when assigned by superior.

Education

• Diploma or Certificate in Electromechanical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse / inventory management experience preferably in food industry.
• Independent with strong leadership, analytical and problems solving skills.
• Good written & verbal communication skills in both English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office applications and knowledge in WMS system will be an added advantage.
• Able to drive a forklift or reach truck (added advantage).

Monday - Friday & 8:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday & 8:00am - 1:00pm
