Job description

Reports To
Role Purpose

The Senior Officer role supports daily sales functions and stations' administrative tasks. The Senior Officer coordinates market rates and agreement preparation. They are also responsible for analyzing fortnightly EQ reports and agents' monthly performance reports. Additionally, the Senior Officer acts as the communication liaison between the station and the Regional Office based at headquarters.

Key Accountability
  • Coordinate with stations to obtain market rates for analysis by the business unit or department.
  • Monitor station performances and reports, ensuring alignment with the business strategies of MABKargo's Commercial Department, and support stations in achieving set targets or KPIs.
  • Prepare new or update existing agreements with customers, cargo agents, or freight forwarders for station's cargo sales purposes.
  • Perform administrative duties as sales support functions, bridging stations and headquarters.
  • Report any discrepancies or anomalies related to stations' sales performance immediately to supervisors or relevant MK management personnel.
Qualifications & Working Experience
  • A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is typically required.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales within cargo airlines, aviation, or related fields are preferred.
Areas of Experience

Proficient in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with the ability to understand, read, and write in all three languages.
