This position is responsible for declaring shipments via the ALDEC system based on Customer Company status and in adherence to the Royal Malaysian Customs Act.
- Verify, check, and validate all shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and airway bills (AWB) to ensure accuracy in quantity, customs coding, clauses, etc.
- Ensure that accurate information is entered into the ALDEC system, including correct quantities, customs coding, clauses, and other relevant details.
- Advise the customs job number to CB Customer Service once the shipment has been declared.
- Attend customs refresher training sessions, if applicable.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
- Note that job responsibilities are subject to change and may be revised as necessary.
- Minimum SPM qualification with three (3) years of working experience in the logistics industry or a Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of the Customs management system would be an advantage.
- Service-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
