Malaysia Airlines is seeking a Manager, Network Scheduling Development in Kuala Lumpur to lead the development of annual network plans and seasonal schedules in collaboration with network, fleet, and commercial teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in airline or aviation.
• Experience in airline network planning, scheduling, fleet planning, or related functions would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Annual Business Plan (ABP) from a network scheduling perspective for MH & FY, in collaboration with Network and Fleet Planning, Revenue Management, Commercial, and other stakeholders.
• Lead the development of Northern Summer and Northern Winter seasonal schedules for IATA slot submissions, aligned with the business plan, network strategy, fleet availability, and market conditions.
• Engage with operational stakeholders to ensure schedule feasibility and compliance with ground rules, block times, payload, maintenance, and other constraints.
• Incorporate unscheduled services, including charter and ad hoc flights, into seasonal production planning to optimize capacity and revenue.
• Develop and evaluate scheduling scenarios to support seasonal planning, network initiatives, and long-term fleet plans.
• Manage scheduling implications of fleet phase-ins/outs and aircraft availability to minimize disruption and optimize utilization.
• Support seasonal production schedules for Hajj, Umrah, and feeder services.
• Support partnerships through schedule coordination, connectivity optimization, and capacity alignment.
• Lead schedule development to support hub-and-spoke network performance and overall efficiency.
• Provide analytical insights on schedule performance and network connectivity to guide management decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify scheduling opportunities, constraints, and risks and propose solutions to support objectives.
• Negotiate Airport Incentive Program (AIP) benefits to support new routes or increased frequencies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Aviation Management, or other relevant disciplines
