Job summary

Kamlax Global Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support critical banking infrastructure within a highly regulated enterprise environment in Malaysia. You will be responsible for network operations, troubleshooting, configuration, security management, and ensuring the stability of mission-critical banking systems.

The role requires expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, monitoring, and incident management across large-scale enterprise and banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
• Mandatory experience in Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Strong expertise in Cisco Routing and Switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Fortinet security solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise load balancers and application delivery technologies.
• Experience with VPN technologies and secure remote connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of high-availability (HA) architectures.
• Experience with SolarWinds network monitoring solutions.
• Experience with ExtraHop network analytics platforms.
• Experience with Gigamon network visibility and monitoring solutions.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure and connectivity services.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching environments.
• Administer and support Palo Alto, Fortinet, and enterprise firewall solutions.
• Manage and optimize load balancing platforms and network traffic distribution.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancement projects.
• Ensure compliance with banking security standards and operational procedures.
• Respond to major incidents and coordinate service restoration activities.
• Implement and maintain high-availability network architectures.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to strengthen network resilience.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and network reports.
