About the role

GKSH Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic Information & Communication Technology team. In this full-time role based in Selangor, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our mission-critical network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

What you\'ll be doing

• Design, deploy, and manage complex network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points


• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience


• Develop and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with the company\'s overall business objectives


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers


• Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends, and recommend improvements to our network infrastructure

What we\'re looking for

• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer or in a similar role


• Extensive knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and design principles


• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)


• Strong understanding of network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems


• Experience with network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, PowerShell)


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
