Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role is embedded within a client’s environment to provide expert-level support, proactive network optimization, and strategic guidance for managed network services. You will be the go-to technical resource, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the client’s network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day operational support for managed network services (routing, switching, wireless, security).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating to TAC when needed.
• Monitor network health and performance using dashboards and analytics tools.
• Assist in network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Conduct network audits and recommend performance improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, incidents, and changes.
• Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to resolve escalated issues.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), and MPLS.
• Experience with managed network platforms (e.g., Aruba Central, Cisco Meraki, Juniper Mist).
• Familiarity with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, NAC).
• Proficiency in CLI environments and scripting (Python preferred).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade hardware (e.g., MX, QFX, EX series).
