Job summary

AvePoint is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our engineering team in Kuala Lumpur. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using modern .NET technologies, with a focus on microservices and containerized deployments on Kubernetes.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver features and ensure robust data handling with PostgreSQL and SQL Server. You should have 5+ years of experience in .NET development, strong C# skills, and proficiency in RESTful

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong proficiency in C# and OO programming.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes in AKS/EKS or on-premises.
• Solid understanding of database design and development, esp. PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, message brokers, and cloud concepts.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Architect and implement microservices for scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship features.
• Work with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/on-prem) to deploy and scale apps.
• Write clean, well-tested code following best practices and patterns.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data integrity with PostgreSQL/SQL Server.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor juniors.
• Stay updated on evolving technologies and suggest improvements.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and performance.
