Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies in our Kuala Lumpur team. You will mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical direction of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in .NET, proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework, with strong SQL Server experience and cloud/CI/CD familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and database design principles.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Proficiency in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (Angular/React/Vue.js).
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, OOP, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance applications using .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and UX/UI Designers to gather requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and architectural principles.
• Develop and integrate APIs, web services, and third-party tools.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprints, retrospectives).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster learning and growth.
