Ria Money Transfer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled .NET Core Backend Developer to design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services across REST and SOAP APIs.

You will work in an Agile, cross-functional environment, applying Domain-Driven Design to model business logic and using SQL Server for data access and stored procedures. You’ll contribute to tests, reviews, and smooth deployments.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Developer with .NET Core.
• Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of SOAP APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server including stored procedures.
• High level of English for daily communication.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, Product).
• Good communication and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with .NET Core.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design to model business logic.
• Implement data access using SQL Server, incl. stored procedures.
• Write and maintain automated unit tests and integration tests.
• Fix bugs and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure test coverage and quality.
• Participate in code reviews for best practices and clean code.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and improvements.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies (Scrum / Kanban).
• Support deployments and post-release validation.
