Job summary

Luxoft in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Murex BO System Analyst to join our technology hub. This full-time on-site position offers career growth within a leading banking client network.

You will analyze Murex Back Office processes, manage trade event workflows, MXML interfaces, and support SIT/UAT while ensuring accurate downstream data feeds to data warehouses and regulatory reporting. Collaboration with developers and architects is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 6-9 years of relevant experience.
• Must have hands-on experience with Murex 3.1 Back Office including trade event processing and MXML workflows.
• Murex Modules: Back office, Trade Event Management, OSP, MXML
• Technical Tools: SQL (data analysis), Excel
• Domain Expertise: Trade lifecycle, Confirmations & Payments, SWIFT, MX & MT messages, CLS.
• Domain Expertise: Regulatory reporting
• Other Languages
• English: C1 Advanced

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business needs.
• Design and execute test cases for trade lifecycle events and accounting processes.
• Support SIT/UAT phases and assist in obtaining user sign-offs.
• Document functional flows, test results, and provide post-implementation support.
• Assist in analyzing downstream systems and reporting interfaces.
• Requirements analysis, functional specification, and test case preparation for Murex and its downstream interfaces.
• Support SIT/UAT phases, ensure proper documentation, and assist in transitioning solutions to production teams.

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services.
