Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer to design, build, test and support secure mobile apps for iOS and Android in a Digital Banking tech team.

You will collaborate with business, technology, architecture, infrastructure and security teams in a fast-paced Agile environment to deliver scalable digital banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 8–10 years of mobile application development experience.
• Hands-on experience with React Native and mobile development for iOS and Android.
• Experience with build, packaging, deployment and release processes.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary, matrixed environment.
• Digital banking, consumer banking, financial services or eCommerce exposure preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer to join a Digital Banking technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting secure, scalable and high-performing mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. The role involves working closely with business, technology, architecture, infrastructure and security teams in a fast-paced Agile and matrixed environment, delivering solutions for digital and Consumer Banking.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality, pixel-perfect and high-performing mobile applications.

Develop and integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.

Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues and production incidents.

Conduct code reviews and maintain high-quality, maintainable code.

Implement automated testing and ensure application reliability.

Coordinate end-to-end testing including SIT, regression, UAT, VAPT and performance testing.

Support production deployment and application releases.

Track and drive resolution of critical and high-severity defects.

Ensure applications are stable, secure, scalable and production-ready.

Prepare technical and operational documentation for BAU handover.

About you

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in mobile application development.

Strong hands‑on experience with React Native and mobile application development.

Experience developing applications for iOS and Android platforms.

Experience with application build, packaging, deployment and release processes.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary and matrixed environment.

Experience in digital banking, Consumer Banking, financial services or eCommerce is highly preferred.
