Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is seeking a Service Manager to lead calibration, maintenance and repair of metrology instruments such as CMMs, Vision/Multisensor systems, portable arms and laser trackers.

You will plan, schedule, and supervise the service team, provide training on measurement software, and support sales with customer evaluations while maintaining meticulous service records and certificates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in service/after-market roles in metrology or instrumentation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; problem solving and CRM/ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead service team for calibration, maintenance, and repair of metrology instruments (CMM, Vision/Multisensor, Portable Arm, Laser Tracker).
• Plan, schedule, and manage service team activities and calibration for tools and equipment.
• Provide training and application support for measurement software bundled with machines.
• Support sales with customer evaluations and demonstrations; maintain service records and certificates.
• Oversee after-market sales, warranty claims, parts management, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Train and supervise service engineers; foster continuous improvement and customer excellence.
• Handle escalated issues with professionalism; build strong client relationships.
