Overview

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the dynamic team at DSCO Group Sdn Bhd. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of complex electrical systems and solutions for our wide range of clients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Kuala Lumpur office.

Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering duties such as planning, engineering design, heatload calculations, tender preparation/evaluation, QA and testing & commissioning to support the M&E Project Director/Manager.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, contractors, lead projects and produce designs and tender documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and provide technical recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and optimise electrical schematics, drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical regulations, codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and best practices.
What we're looking for
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering industry.
