Job description

Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer (M&E Consultant)

Industry: Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy Services

Salary range: Starting from RM 4300, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

1. Assist and report to Project Team Leader in preliminary planning, design concepts, and cost estimation.
2. Liaise with external parties (authorities, clients, contractors) regarding project submission and approval.
3. Technical interfacing and contract administration.
4. Prepare and manage M&E contracts, tender processes, relevant documents, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
5. Monitor and manage the timely implementation of all project phases.
6. Attend project meetings, site inspections, testing, and commissioning.
7. Generate ideas or lead teams to drive continual improvement within the department.
8. Perform other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in Mandarin is an advantage for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the M&E consulting field for Electrical/Senior Electrical Engineers.
• Required skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office.
• Preferably a Senior Executive in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
