About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components, ensuring high performance, reliability, and manufacturability. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and leadership in driving projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for new and existing products.
• Build detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including embedded & software engineers, project managers to meet project goals.
• Conduct design reviews, incorporate feedback, and continuously enhance product quality and functionality.
• Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes to optimize cost and performance.
• Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and technical guidance.
• Partner with suppliers and manufacturing teams for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and production ramp-up.

About You

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in mechanical design or related engineering fields.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiar with FEA tools.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience across the full product development lifecycle — from concept, design, prototyping, to production.
• Excellent problem-solving, strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Multitasking skills to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to mechanical design.
