CAI is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to lead mechanical testing and commissioning activities at client sites. You will coordinate with vendors, clients, and contractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery of commissioning deliverables.

The role requires strong knowledge of P&IDs, OSHA safety, and communication skills. Extensive travel (75%) and job stability in a mission-critical environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA (or equivalent) safety requirements.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical P&IDs.
• Knowledge of mission-critical design concepts.
• Candidates need to be either SGP citizen or PR holder.

Responsabilités

• Lead and steer all mechanical commissioning and testing activities for all contracted testing and commissioning work related to mechanical systems at the client`s site according to the agreed Scope of Works.
• Act as technical expert and advisor for the client, advising on feasibility, practicality, and any cost, resource impact of solution, methods, and work procedures at all stages of the commissioning process.
• Fulfill the role of on-site technical lead and coordinate obtaining the correct information from equipment vendors, clients, contactors, and site owners to make decisions and lead.
• Participate in meetings with the client, consultants, and other contractors to provide expert technical opinion and sign off on commissioning deliverables scope.
• Ensuring all relevant certifications and required documentation have been provided by construction contractors and vendors for commissioning documentation.
• Review design documents and approve documents meeting commissioning requirements.
• Develop and approve test scripts, ITPs, FATs or FWTs as needed.
• Ensure delivery quality aligns with client requirements and performance targets.
• Track project timelines and provide regular progress updates to teams and client.
• Create technical reports on project status and risks to schedule and resourcing.
