Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Business Office, Production, Procurement, Planning, and customers to develop and communicate production and shipment plans aligned with business goals.
2. Participate in Master Planning review and procurement activities based on MRP processes.
3. Coordinate with planning teams on customer requirements and changes to assess costs and feasibility.
4. Ensure alternative sourcing options to maintain supply continuity and support customer costs.
5. Resolve issues with customers and internal teams, managing relationships from a Supply Chain perspective.
6. Gather and share customer SCM feedback, champion improvements, and communicate action plans.
7. Manage AOS and CTB processes.
8. Develop an in-depth understanding of the global supply chain, Celestica's policies, and its stakeholders.
9. Understand customer-specific business, organization, products, and processes.
10. Understand the Engineering Change Note (ECN) process and related actions.
11. Utilize computer systems effectively to gather and present information.
12. Communicate SCM activities clearly to customers and internal teams.
13. Use analysis and judgment to assess performance and set priorities.
14. Interface effectively across functions such as purchasing, planning, and operations.
15. Conduct Clear To Build (CTB) materials supply simulations and scenario analyses.
16. Knowledge of SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse is advantageous.

Experience & Education

• Six to eight years of relevant experience in material planning and purchasing.
• Experience in a contract manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
