Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, understand customer needs and preferences, and assess competitive landscapes in the palm oil sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders in the palm oil industry.
• Effectively communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients.
• Regular travel to meet with clients or prospects, especially in a regional or national sales territory.
• Familiar with industry regulations and standards related to palm oil production and marketing.
• Handle customer inquiries, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of cost per order (CPO) and its derivatives.
• Monitor and analyze performance and generate reports to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management/ Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
• Graduate with background and experience in consumer/customer/client facing business, sales and marketing environments, preferably in Palm Oil industry and have Estate background.
• At least 3-5 years working experience in related is required. Direct experience in palm oil industry and Estate background is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skill in Bahasa and English. Able to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work in Kuala Lumpur and travel around Malaysia when necessary.
