Saladplate – Content & Insights Hub for the Hospitality, Food & Beverage Portfolio

Saladplate is an online content and insights platform within Informa Markets' Hospitality, Food & Beverage portfolio. This portfolio includes over 35 global events and reaches more than 600,000 industry professionals through content-driven products such as independent news, a bi-monthly e-magazine, e-newsletters, in-person breakfast events for C-level executives, a supplier directory, whitepapers, and country reports.

We are seeking a data-driven, tech-savvy yet creative Senior Marketing Executive to support daily marketing operations. Responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns aimed at increasing organic traffic, conversions, leads, and engagement. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of online content platforms, the trade fair industry, and be capable of working independently and collaboratively.

The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet marketing and event objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce marketing materials and campaigns to promote the content platform
  • Design effective marketing campaigns to engage audiences, including planning and executing multi-channel, cross-device campaigns with measurable metrics
  • Translate marketing strategies into actionable campaign metrics such as acquisition, engagement, retention, brand awareness, and innovation goals
  • Implement content strategies in collaboration with marketing and creative teams to define content, customer experience, and target journeys, with clear goals for optimization and ROI
  • Manage processes and platforms to ensure visibility and tracking of multi-channel conversions and attribution
  • Utilize audience insights to tailor marketing content that resonates at the right time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or executing marketing campaigns, including organic and paid campaigns for projects, events, or products
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese and/or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities
  • Effective knowledge of digital marketing channels, web analytics, email marketing systems, and database management
  • Creative mindset for content creation and design
  • Desire for continuous learning and skill development
  • Ability to multitask and deliver high-quality work
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive
