Job summary

Terex Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer/Assistant Manufacturing Manager to drive Lean initiatives across the production floor in Subang Jaya. You will implement 5S, VSM, and takt time, develop master schedules, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet BTS and OTD targets.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, proficiency with Creo View, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Proficient in Creo View or similar visualization software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams.
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• A strong team player with positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, VSM, standardization) and manage production progress.
• Troubleshoot line issues to maximize productivity and minimize defects.
• Develop and maintain the production master schedule and drawing packages.
• Monitor machine testing activities and report findings.
• Coordinate daily production control room meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Support BTS and On-Time Delivery targets and safety initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and assist with layout/facility enhancements.
