AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Leader to guide the treasury team in cash management, funding, and risk controls. The role focuses on daily liquidity, funding strategies, and strengthening banking relationships across international operations.

You will oversee operations including cash forecasting, month-end closing, and FX hedging while mentoring a high-performing treasury team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) in Finance/Accountancy.
• Minimum of 10 years treasury experience with established companies and/or reputable audit firms.
• Experience with banking relationships, funding, liquidity management, and risk control is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily cash management, liquidity monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and funding planning.
• Assess funding requirements and determine optimum funding structures for operating companies.
• Ensure timely month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and resolution of aged items.
• Oversee banking settlements and interbank fund transfers.
• Lead fundraising activities across financial institutions and debt capital markets.
• Negotiate with fund providers and review relevant legal documentation.
• Manage foreign currency hedging and cross-currency swap activities.
• Develop relationships with Bank Negara and banking partners for loan drawdowns and settlements.
• Lead, develop, coach, and mentor the Treasury team.

Hands-on experience and provide guidance to Treasury team with responsibility for treasury operations, cash management, funding and capital markets activities, risk management, banking relationships, reporting, and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

Lead daily cash management, liquidity monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and funding planning.

Assess operating companies' daily funding requirements and determine optimum funding structures.

Ensure timely month-end closing, accurate bank reconciliations, and prompt resolution of aged items

Oversee daily banking settlements and interbank fund transfers.

Lead fund raising activities across financial institutions and debt capital markets to meet the company's funding requirements.

Negotiate with fund providers and review all relevant legal documentation in the best interest of the company.

Work closely with stakeholders to identify and minimise financial risk, including oversight of foreign currency hedging and cross-currency swap activities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with Bank Negara and banking partners covering loan drawdowns, loan facilities, and banking settlements.

Prepare monthly and ad hoc treasury operations reports.

Lead, develop, coach, and mentor the Treasury team across all functions including cash management, banking administration, FX hedging, and cross-currency swap.

About you

Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) in Finance/Accountancy.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant Treasury working experience with established companies and/or reputable audit firms.
