Senior Manager, Transformation Management Office

The Senior Manager in the Transformation Management Office (TMO) is responsible for steering the successful implementation of strategic projects, ensuring that these initiatives achieve their anticipated benefits in alignment with the approved Strategic Plan, Business Plan, or other key directives. The role holder will drive high-impact delivery, provide strategic oversight, and lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution and benefit realization.

Job Description

  1. Provide strategic oversight for the implementation of the Strategic Plan and Business Plan for BPMB and its subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall strategic direction.
  2. Lead the successful execution of BPMB’s strategic projects, ensuring high-impact delivery and alignment with strategic priorities.
  3. Drive the successful implementation of merger initiatives, overseeing the integration of processes, systems, and teams to achieve operational synergies and strategic outcomes.
  4. Drive the realization of expected outcomes and benefits from strategic initiatives, focusing on long-term impact and organizational growth.
  5. Oversee and align cross-departmental strategic projects ensuring cohesive delivery.
  6. Ensure timely, accurate, and impactful submissions of reports and presentations to the Management Committee, Board Committee, and relevant stakeholders.
  7. Act as a key liaison for strategic communication between TMO and senior management and project stakeholders.
  8. Guide and drive the preparation and approval of papers, including business cases, charters, and project planning.
  9. Monitor and control projects, validate deliverables, take corrective actions, and report on project status.
  10. Validate project milestones, prepare project closure reports, and obtain approvals.
  11. Identify and map benefits with strategic objectives, set benefits baseline, measure progress, take corrective actions, and report to stakeholders.
  12. Ensure compliance with standard project management methodologies.
  13. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, proactive planning, and effective execution.
  14. Conduct advanced knowledge-sharing sessions on project delivery and management areas.
  15. Identify and facilitate opportunities for professional development within the team, aligned with BPMB’s leadership competencies.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  2. PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
  3. Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in banking or financial sectors.
  4. Experience in merger integration management, overseeing system, process, and team integration for successful outcomes.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Critical, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills for engagement and relationship building.
