Purpose Statement

Represent Global Supply Chain Strategy in leading strategic Supply chain projects and supporting business partners to enable growth and drive execution in alignment with BSC Corporate Objectives. Drive Global Supply Chain Strategy throughout the network. Will have direct responsibility to support for a subset of the global sites, functions and divisions.

Job Responsibilities

1. Connect and manage relationships with regional and divisional partners to ensure stakeholder requirements are represented as part of our E2E global supply chain strategy.
2. Manage GSC functional relationships to ensure stakeholder requirements are represented as part of our E2E global supply chain strategy.
3. Lead site selection decisions for new technologies and new product launches.
4. Support the implementation of the “Delivering Excellence” roadmap.
5. Build strong relationships with sites and functions to understand needs and opportunities to enable the overall strategy.
6. Develop and improve our strategic processes to ensure the network is best positioned for future growth.
7. Develop tools and metrics to track global supply chain performance on executing our network strategy.
8. Facilitate Supply chain End to End Design decisions, in partnership with Global Sourcing and the global supply chain sites/functions which enable our strategy.
9. Lead analysis and recommendations associated with global supply chain network optimization opportunity assessments.
10. Partner and collaborate with BSC sites and functions on global supply chain related projects and data. Analyze collected data to arrive at patterns/trends to drive strategic decisions.
11. Identify critical investment areas for BSC global supply chain.
12. Identify best practices for global supply chain outside of BSC and outside of med devices; use those best practices to drive step-function improvement in BSC’s ability to Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Service.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or other technical degree.
2. Master’s degree / MBA desirable.
3. At least 8 years’ experience working with functional areas across divisions/sites.
4. Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
5. Strong project management skills; organized and can plan/work towards a deadline.
6. English level: >90% proficiency.
7. Knowledge in FDA regulated industry.
8. Strong financial acumen.
