Site quality representative that focuses on instilling a quality mindset throughout the plant.

He/she is responsible for ensuring the consistent production of high-quality products by overseeing and improving quality systems and processes on-site. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and customer expectations, driving continuous improvements in product quality and manufacturing processes. Owns site quality metrics and drives resilience through quality tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

1. Lead, manage, and develop the site quality team.
2. Promote a culture of quality and set an example.
3. Maintain reporting of quality metrics and drive the team to achieve quality goals.
4. Ensure manufacturing processes and products meet high standards and maintain them.
5. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, involving cross-functional teams to identify error opportunities.
6. Mentor and train personnel in quality management and improvement practices.
7. Utilize problem-solving tools and techniques for high-profile investigations.
8. Set quality requirements and standards for new line transfers and product qualifications.
9. Lead site Quality Management System deployment, audits, and certifications.
10. Perform other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; professional certifications are an advantage.
• 11 to 14 years of relevant experience across multiple disciplines.
• Strong background in managing various quality streams such as design, suppliers, incoming, in-process, and customer quality.
• Proven results with tangible improvements in previous roles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep knowledge of quality metrics, ISO standards, and processes.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred.
• Solid understanding of quality management tools and techniques, including requirements cascade, risk assessment, testing, validation, and manufacturing process qualification.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards like ISO 9001.
• Ability to manage stakeholders to meet quality objectives.
• Effective leadership and motivation of diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with typical systems and processes: Microsoft, Windows, Google.
• Hands-on approach.
