Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Manager, Procurement Operations & Market Support to lead a high-performing team dedicated to enabling procurement excellence across both new and existing international markets. This role is critical to supporting the company’s global expansion by overseeing procurement setup, standardizing processes, managing contracts, and enhancing market competitiveness through price benchmarking and operational insights.

In addition to supporting new market entries, the role will also drive international country operations support, ensuring that procurement activities remain effective, compliant, and adaptable over the long term. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in procurement leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and international project execution.

Key Responsibilities

New Market Expansion Planning & Execution

  • Project manage procurement-related workstreams for new country entries, including supplier onboarding, hiring plans, and operational setup.
  • Define and document localized SOPs aligned with global standards and local compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, finance, warehouse, and local operations to ensure seamless procurement integration.

International Country Operation Support

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement support team to drive operational excellence across markets.
  • Oversee the creation, rollout, and continuous improvement of procurement training materials and SOPs.
  • Provide ongoing support to existing markets to resolve procurement challenges, optimize supplier performance, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor procurement compliance and operational readiness post-launch to ensure sustainability and scalability.
  • Identify gaps, recommend process improvements, and implement best practices to strengthen procurement operations globally.

Contract & Supplier Management

  • Coordinate contract review, drafting, negotiation, and management processes for both new and existing markets.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts meet local and international regulatory standards.
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of strategic suppliers across regions.

Market Price Benchmarking & Analysis

  • Conduct regular pricing analysis to maintain competitiveness and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track and analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Recommend regionally relevant procurement models and pricing strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-country procurement operations and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement operations, contract lifecycle management, and SOP development.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes across diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
