The brief

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Marketing Operations Manager to join our dynamic, fast-growing, B2B marketing-as-a-service organization. This position requires a deep understanding of the intricacies of implementing, optimizing, and integrating B2B marketing tech (MarTech) stacks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B MarTech and lead management, serves as the architect to support overall martech strategy, process optimization and integrations for our diverse client base.

Challenges You’ll Tackle

  • Evaluate and understand client's business needs and marketing objectives to recommend and implement effective MarTech solutions.
  • Drive the strategic oversight and optimization of the marketing technology stack, leading the implementation of new technologies and processes, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making to enhance marketing performance.
  • Plan and oversee scalable Lead-to-Opportunity processes, lead management and lifecycle design, transforming how the marketing team captures, scores, qualifies, converts, and prioritizes leads.
  • Analyze and review existing marketing processes and MarTech implementation, identify opportunities and challenges for strategic decision-making, provide findings and roadmap to optimize.
  • Provide strategic guidance on the utilization of marketing technologies to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create and manage quarterly plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, coordinate work streams and dependencies, track and communicate progress, and identify obstacles and ensure they are addressed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in marketing technology to continuously improve and innovate our service offerings.
  • Manage, mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices in marketing operations.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Marketing Operations, MarTech, or a related field within a marketing organization.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing operations and technology initiatives within a large organization.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Leadership experience with the capability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Deep understanding of marketing technologies such as marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools, such as Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
  • A self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Minimum 4 years of managerial experience required, preferably in marketing operations or a related field.
