Job Description/Responsibilities:
Join our Business Development team! We're looking for a candidate with at least 10 to 15 years of proven experience in Industrial Protective Packaging. This hybrid role is split evenly between managing global key accounts and pursuing new business opportunities. You'll lead the team and play a crucial role in developing strategies to expand into new markets while enhancing our core offerings, particularly in Protective Packaging solutions such as paper corrugated, foam, thermoforming plastics, and wooden crates. Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth across the region, aligning with company objectives to create new business opportunities, segments, industries, and major projects.
- Identify customer needs and pursue new business opportunities that align with global strategy and new portfolio solutions (e.g., fiber flute, light woods, green materials).
- Collaborate with the global sales team to develop and execute strategic plans for rapid sales development.
- Maintain a broad perspective and deep analytical thinking to address critical issues, with a clear strategy and execution plan for new accounts and segments.
- Acquire new clients and nurture relationships to enhance sales revenue.
- Lead the team in efforts to grow new business while simultaneously protecting and strengthening the existing core business.
- Independently form strategies and engage hands-on in their implementation.
- Lead ERP, Sustainability GreenCalc Project, and CRM implementations within the business development department.
- Reduce debtor aging across the department.
- Mentor junior business development staff, focusing on potential new business in sectors such as semiconductor, EV batteries, and medical, and support their success in achieving ambitious goals.
- Collaborate effectively in a deadline-driven environment and perform well under pressure.
Your Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, specifically in protective packaging.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or packaging design engineering.
- Strong hunting and sales skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strategic mindset.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
- Extensive background in protective packaging, particularly with paper corrugated, foam, and wooden crate solutions. Applications from candidates without this specific experience will be rejected.
- Familiarity with plastics thermoforming is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex business documents.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Chinese/Other) are desirable.
