Lead the development and execution of HR strategies that align with organizational objectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to management on all human capital matters.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Oversee end-to-end recruitment, with a strong focus on innovative hiring strategies for the retail industry.
Manage workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place to support business needs.
Performance Management & Employee Development
Drive performance management processes, ensuring clear goal-setting, regular feedback, and fair appraisals.
Partner with department heads to identify training needs and career development pathways.
Oversee salary benchmarking, benefit administration, and ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
Serve as a key contact for complex employee relations issues and disciplinary matters.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act or labor-related matters where applicable.
Policy Development & Compliance
Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal standards and company goals.
Ensure policies are communicated effectively and enforced fairly across the organization.
HR Operations & Administration
Supervise the HR team and oversee day-to-day operation.
Ensure HR systems and processes are efficient and secure
Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong specialization in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations and HR best practices.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management capabilities.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute with operational excellence.
