Role Summary
The Senior Manager, HRBP – SEA & Singapore, will act as a key HR leader supporting business growth and transformation across South East Asia, including Singapore, from a Malaysia-based hub. This role partners closely with senior business leaders and functional heads to deliver people strategies aligned to organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders across South East Asia and Singapore.
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support talent development, workforce planning, and business growth.
- Drive organizational design, change management, and culture-building initiatives.
Regional HR Oversight
- Support HR operations and business partnering activities in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
- Ensure alignment of HR practices with global/regional HR frameworks and adapt to local contexts.
- Collaborate with in-country HR representatives and CoEs to implement effective solutions.
Talent & Performance Management
- Lead talent planning processes, performance reviews, and succession planning activities.
- Champion leadership development and high-potential employee programs across SEA.
- Promote an inclusive workplace and support DE&I goals.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Guide local HR teams in managing employee relations cases and labor law compliance across SEA markets.
- Advise managers on sensitive people matters and help foster a positive employee experience.
Data & Analytics
- Utilize people data and analytics to inform HR strategies and decisions.
- Monitor HR KPIs and metrics across the region to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a regional HRBP or HR leadership role.
- Strong HR knowledge across South East Asia, with hands-on experience in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
- Proven track record in talent management, business partnering, and organizational development.
Preferred Skills:
- Cross-border HR experience in a multinational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of HR metrics.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
