Your Mission
- Assist the Head of Group Integrity & Governance (GIG) to implement integrity & governance programmes and activities (encompassing code of conduct, anti-corruption, whistleblowing, vendor code of conduct) Group-wide, entailing the following:
- Oversight in reviewing governance policies, including developing and periodically updating relevant policies on code of conduct, anti-corruption, conflict of interest, and whistleblowing to ensure continuing relevance in providing guidance to Directors, Management and Employees.
- Assessing the overall ethical climate of the Group while driving the ethics and integrity programmes across the Group and monitor the progress of the programmes, measure its effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements accordingly.
- Driving effective integrity & governance communication programmes (via training, awareness and other forms of communication) for the Group by taking reasonable steps to communicate periodically and in a practical manner its standards and procedures, and other aspects as required.
- Overseeing the direction and management of the whistleblowing function, including responding to alleged wrongdoings by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures as appropriate, ensuring uniform handling and resolution of such violations.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations and briefing materials for Board and Management
- Assist GIG human capital and resource requirements including, among others, performance evaluation, developmental needs and succession planning, to ensure continuity, consistency and enhancement of the teams' functions and performance.
- Ascertain that the GIG Annual Plan and Programmes are executed on a timely manner.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Law, or with relevant legal and/or advisory experience.
- Professional qualification in related field.
- More than 12 years related experience, to sufficiently support the job purpose and content of this role, including effective communication and negotiation skills that yield results.
- In senior management role of at least 10 years in addition to substantive portfolio of lead positions. Strong management of an organization’s compliance program and control.
- Understanding of governance, risks, controls and legal/ regulatory compliance.
- Industry knowledge and understanding of business, strategies and risks.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage Senior Management and diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in Fraud/ investigations
