Job summary

A leading corporation in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant to the GMD to oversee operations and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and has experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist the GMD in overseeing and coordinating operations.
  • Ensure all documents comply with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and minutes of meetings.

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the GMD.

  • Ensure that all documents comply with regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and minutes of key meetings involving the GMD.
  • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the GMD.
Qualifications
  • Educational Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Business administration (MBA) or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience in the mining or a related industry is a strong advantage.
  • Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in document management and legal compliance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to travel frequently.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (written & oral) is an added advantage.
