HSBC’s Global Trade Solutions (GTS) comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Manager – Global Trade Solutions Sales.

In this role you will:

  • Proactively identify and develop new GTS opportunities for HSBC.
  • Assist in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers.
  • Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers.
  • Work closely with Structured Trade Solutions to provide innovative solutions to existing and new to bank businesses.
  • Support distribution channel business development strategies.
  • Support plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets.
  • Work hand in hand with stakeholders to grow the GTS franchise.
  • Protect the bank's reputation and ensure an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews.
