Job summary

IOI City Mall is seeking a Fit Out Manager to lead and coordinate fit out projects. The role requires working closely with contractors and consultants to ensure timely design realization, as well as overseeing tenancy fit out processes while ensuring compliance with approved designs. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in retail design and fit-out.

• Ability to work flexibly and solve problems analytically.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

To lead a team of fit out coordinators, ensuring the design layouts are realized in a timely fashion in close liaison with contractors and consultants.

Pre-Fit Out / Construction Stage

• Provide technical inputs and coordination for shop fit out.
• Raise requisitions and liaise with the Project Department on base building work.
• Coordinate with base building consultants on technical issues.
• Make recommendations to the Tenancy Approving Board regarding fit out works.

Fit Out / Construction Stage

• Monitor the overall progress of tenancy fit out works.
• Coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security, and Safety Departments regarding fit out activities.
• Ensure contractors comply with approved designs and address technical issues promptly.

Post Fit Out / Construction Stage

Supervise rectification works in coordination with Contractors, Leasing, Safety, and Building Services Departments in case of non-compliance.

Special Projects

Manage other projects as assigned by management within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent; minimum 5 years experience in retail design and fit-out.
• Ability to work flexibly and solve problems analytically.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
