We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Program/Project Manager to join our Semiconductor Capital Equipment team. In this role, you will drive operational efficiency, optimize manufacturing processes, and enhance productivity in a high-tech, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production flow, reduce cycle times, and ensure cost-effective solutions for semiconductor equipment manufacturing.

Detailed Description
  • Lead process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance production capacity.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies, Six Sigma methodologies, and automation solutions.
  • Analyse production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements in factory layout, logistics, and materials handling.
  • Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new equipment and process changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects related to yield enhancement, defect reduction, and throughput optimization.
  • Utilize data analytics, simulation tools, and statistical modelling to support decision-making and process enhancements.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring efficient ramp-up and scalability in manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans for improvement in cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to enhance component reliability, availability, and manufacturability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Provide expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) and supply chain optimization.
  • Develop and implement VAVE strategies to meet cost reduction and value improvement targets.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of industrial engineering experience in a semiconductor capital equipment or high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies (certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are a plus).
  • Experience with factory layout design, process simulation, and capacity planning.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Python, SQL, Power BI) and industrial engineering software.
  • Familiarity with automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies in manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom environments is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in semiconductor capital equipment companies is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools.
