Job Summary
Lead, manage, and oversee the FCAD centre in Kuching Region, focusing on daily BAU activities related to post acceptance and post disbursement for Consumer Financing-Mortgage and Business Financing portfolios. Ensure performance excellence and full compliance with policies, regulations, and statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational activities in the Kuching region for:
- Consumer Financing products: issuance of instructions, vetting security documents, executing Power of Attorney, releasing advice, handling security documents, redemption, discharge, and other post-disbursement matters.
- Business Financing products: issuance of instructions, PA execution, document verification, disbursement of STP cases, and liaising with BUs.
Participate in process re-engineering to improve efficiency and compliance with SLA and best practices.
Engage stakeholders through briefings, training, and discussions to manage expectations.
Assess and monitor solicitor performance, update SOPs, and ensure staff are informed of process changes.
Maintain reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis.
Handle complaints and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
Ensure processes align with FCAD Central standards and compliance frameworks.
Drive staff productivity through leadership, capacity planning, and development.
Undertake additional duties as assigned and act as Power of Attorney for the bank.
Requirements & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience managing banking operations volume.
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills.
- Deep knowledge of documentation processes for retail and corporate segments.
- Familiarity with legal, credit, and operational documentation/conveyancing.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements such as BNM guidelines, AMLA, PDPA.
