Job summary

AIA Digital+ is seeking a DevOps Architect to design, implement, and govern scalable DevOps practices across Azure-based environments. The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and secure software delivery, with collaboration across development and operations teams.

Ideal candidates will lead DevSecOps initiatives, mentor teams, and stay ahead of industry trends to improve performance and reliability of applications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DevOps strategies, frameworks, and practices to optimize software development and delivery processes.
• Self-driven, proactively review and improve DevSecOps platform
• Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Define and establish DevOps best practices, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Automate and manage the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates or Bicep within Azure environment.
• Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the availability and performance of applications.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance the DevOps ecosystem
• Lead and mentor development and operations teams in adopting DevOps practices and technologies.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and implement security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
• Define integrations standards security, monitoring and testing
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, JSON and YAML
• Experience on onboarding new applications to the DevOps platform and integrating with various DevOps security and testing tools such as Nexus, SonarQube, Snyk, Atlassian products.
• Experience on DevOps platforms such as GitHub Enterprise and Jenkins.
• Experience on Azure platform includes services like AKS/ACR, App Services, Azure API Management and Azure Functions.
• Experience with API and Container Platform Security.
• Extensive experience in software development, release engineering, or operations roles.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java) and scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management and deployment tools (e.g., Ansible and Terraform )
• Hands on experience in creating DevOps pipelines using GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Atlassian products and Security and testing tools.
• Hand-on experience of Azure Kubernetes Services Governance and Standards.
