Senior Manager, Corporate Finance (based in PJ)

They are one of Malaysia's top PLC manufacturing companies. Now, they are looking for an exceptional individual to join their dynamic team as their Senior Manager, Corporate Finance to be based in their HQ office at Petaling Jaya.

Your new role

1. Assess and review corporate proposals, including funding and capital-raising initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.

2. Conduct valuations of target companies using various valuation techniques, as appropriate. This includes preparing feasibility assessments and building financial models and projections.

3. Create merger and acquisition models, along with financial restructuring plans, which include pre- and post-transaction business models, cash flow analysis, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and the financial effects on group performance for valuation and due diligence purposes.

4. Design corporate proposal schemes, negotiating optimal terms and structures while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Identify and resolve issues related to the proposals, offering recommendations or solutions.

5. Stay updated and ensure that all corporate finance activities comply with the latest regulations from Bursa Malaysia, the Securities Commission, and other statutory or regulatory bodies.

6. Oversee the implementation of corporate exercises according to the agreed terms and structure until their completion.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Bachelor’s Degree in accountancy, and chartered qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CFA, ICAEW, CIMA etc.

2. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in corporate finance within a PLC, GLC or a Big Four audit firm.

3. Possess good writing and presentation skills with the ability to structure investment and corporate finance proposals.

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Proactive, ability to drive and function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
