Senior Manager, Communications

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Communications to lead and execute strategic communication initiatives that enhance our brand presence, foster employee engagement, and strengthen corporate identity. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in corporate communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.

Working hours: 9am – 6pm

Region: Malaysia

What will you do?

Strategic Communications & Brand Management

  1. Execute communication-related initiatives to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence across internal and external channels.
  2. Oversee corporate identity, digital presence, and media relations to enhance brand reputation and positioning.
  3. Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all communication materials align with corporate messaging, tone, and visual identity.

Corporate Events, Sponsorships & Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Plan, manage, and execute high-impact corporate events, sponsorships, and employee engagement initiatives that align with business objectives.
  2. Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to maximize brand visibility and enhance partnerships.
  3. Lead end-to-end event execution, including budgeting, vendor coordination, logistics, and post-event impact analysis.

Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

  1. Implement internal communication programs that drive employee engagement, collaboration, and a strong company culture.
  2. Content development of leadership communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
  3. Oversee and maintain the company intranet portal, ensuring it remains a dynamic and engaging platform for employees.

  1. A strategic thinker with a strong track record in corporate communications, media relations, and brand management.
  2. An excellent communicator with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and engage with senior stakeholders.
  4. A proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building impactful communication strategies.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. Master’s degree encouraged.
  2. Minimum 8-10 years in experience in corporate communications, branding, or marketing roles. Experience in financial services preferred.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, event planning, digital marketing, and leadership abilities.
  4. Ability to independently manage communication initiatives.
  5. Ability to advise leadership on branding and communication strategies.
  6. Proven experience in execution of major communication, branding and event initiatives.
